Individuals - Help Cowrie’s mission for a more equitable future
How can I support equality of access to degree courses?
There are many ways to support Cowrie Scholars. Making a donation, whether one-off or monthly, helps unlock pledged tuition fees from universities, allowing us to offer funded places into the future. Fundraising for the Foundation, or donating speaker fees or royalties is also a great way to support. Donations may be made with Gift Aid, which makes them worth 25% more to us – at no extra cost to you. You may also like to donate through Payroll Giving, or via CAF, a DAF or personal trust.
We have been honoured to receive previous gifts in wills, which can make a transformational difference – please speak to us if you would like to discuss including a legacy gift to support future Scholars.
You can also volunteer as a mentor to our Scholars, and help by sharing our social media content with others.

How can my company support educational opportunity and a more diverse workforce?
We welcome donations and annual support from our business supporters, as well as employee giving programmes such as payroll giving and volunteering scheme enagement (such as employee mentors for Scholars).
We also invite you to consider running insight, skills and careers sessions, as well as letting us know of any internships available which may be of interest to our Scholars. Cowrie Scholars work across a wide range of disciplines and are talented, ambitious individuals seeking these sorts of opportunities.
