New Corporate Sponsors – Oxera and Unilever

We are very proud that Oxera and Unilever are joining The Cowrie Scholarship Foundation as corporate sponsors and supporters.

Oxera

Oxera has pledged our first fully funded corporate sponsorship. Oxera will also provide mentorship, internships and training for Cowrie Scholars. This is an exciting long-term partnership with Oxera to create new lives through education.

Unilever

Unilever has pledged £25k to sponsor one student’s entire degree from October 2021. They have also pledged to provide mentorship, insight sessions and employability workshops for all Cowrie scholars.

“We’re proud to announce a new partnership with the Cowrie Scholarship Foundation. The foundation aims to support disadvantaged Black British students through UK universities, and at Unilever, we’re pleased to become one of the first official sponsors. Over the course of the next 3 years we will provide both financial support as well as valuable employability skills to the Cowrie scholars, via an array of initiatives from mentorship schemes to insight sessions and workshops. This partnership falls under our ‘Unilever Futures’ strategy and will add to the work already being done to reach our ambitious Unilever UK social commitments.”
