Scholars in 2026.

Access to education should not be restricted by background, race, or social class. Sadly, this is still not the case. The Cowrie Scholarship Foundation aims to improve access to Higher Education for talented, disadvantaged, Black British students by fully funding 100+ undergraduate scholarships by 2030.

We have awarded 70 scholarships in just 5 years. 11 of our Scholars have already graduated. In 2026, we aim to unlock a further 15 scholarships at our partner universities.

We help our Scholars to overcome barriers by expanding access and equity, because education transforms lives. We believe in empowerment through education.

Together, we can fund our 2026 cohort of new Scholars by raising £85,000.
