Creating new futures for over 100 talented, disadvantaged, Black British students through university education.

The Cowrie Scholarship Foundation provides full scholarships for talented, disadvantaged, Black British undergraduate students at our UK partner universities.

We are empowering 100+ disadvantaged talented Black British students over the next decade by funding their fees and living expenses, in partnership with universities, donors and businesses, supported by mentors.

Since 2020, we have partnered with 26 UK universities, provided 70 full scholarships and raised tuition fee pledges from universities of £4m+.

We have already fundraised over £700,000 to unlock pledged tuition fee places – but we need to raise £85,000 during 2026 to continue to offer transformational scholarships.

Join us in creating a more equitable future.

Our vision is for a fairer society and more diverse future leaders.
